We went to the parade on Saturday and saw all my aunts, uncles and cousins on the Duffy side. Irish dancers, wolfhounds and lots of firetrucks!!

AND, congrats to Big Joe and St. Sebastian boys on winning the Varsity Boys diocesan basketball championships! We went to the game yesterday and boy was it exciting! Boy my Aunt Kelly can sure yell!

And Happy Anniversary of my mom and dad meeting - 8 years! And thanks to Nin Nin for thinking my dad was too short and passing him off to my mom :)!

What a busy weekend for me! Friday I stayed all night at Aunt Kelly's with Sydney, Joey & Trinity and last night I slept over Grammy & Pap Pap's house! Mommy said she missed me alot but was glad to get a full night's sleep!

Wow! It really snowed this weekend so daddy made us a snowman and a little snow chair for me! Last night my friends Jake and Alex Miller came over and we had fun playing with my toys and playing lincoln logs!

Update on my appointment with Dr. Escobar - everything is fine as expected. I had to give blood (which really hurt) but he doesn't think there is any problem. I'll go back in 6 months just to be sure!

Doctor's appointment today for my cough and it looks like I'll need some antibiotics to clear it up. And since I'm not growing that tall, my doctor wants me to see a specialist so my mommy is taking me tomorrow to see an endocrinologist. I'm sure my mommy will update with news!

No swimming lessons today because Joey & Sydney slept over last night so we slept in and ate waffles for breakfast! Then mommy and I went to visit her friend Miss Gelsina from work and her daughter Julia. Julia gave me some lip gloss to bring home - it looks great on my lips! Then we went to Great Grandpa's house for his birthday party! I saw Aunt Ashley's engagment ring and it is really pretty! Daddy comes home tonite!

Today Daddy leaves to go skiing tonite with Uncle Pat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. What a good time for me to get a nice big cough and not be able to sleep at night! Looks like Mommy will have to share her big bed with me!!

Happy Balentimes Day everyone! (typing it as Caileigh says it). Very exciting to take all her Valentines to school especially for "Bobby" who pulled her pigtail out the other day! Caileigh got a new Pooh puzzle so we're looking forward to putting that together tonite!

Sydney's birthday party was today and it was lots of fun! My dad and I picked out her present yesterday and she really liked it! We got sweetarts and balloons at the party and of course, cake and ice cream!
Yesterday Mommy was in Michigan and daddy took me to swimming lessons. I went underwater 4 times and the teacher said I did great! Then daddy and I went to Giant Eagle and got a donut like we do every week!

Today my great Aunt Virginia from Michigan passed away. She was 86 years old and had 6 kids, and more grandkids and great grandkids than you could count. She was my Grandpa Burke's oldest sister. Keep my Great Uncle Paul and her kids in your prayers. Mommy is going to Michigan Friday for the funeral.

Busy weekend! Friday, Grammy and her mom Betty came over to watch me while Mommy and Daddy went to see the play Joseph. Saturday morning, more swimming and then we went shopping for food for the Super Bowl! Daddy went skiing all day and Ms. Eileen came over and brought Mommy a new laptop bag and brought us matching aprons. And she brought me a neat shape and color game which I play with every day! Thanks Ms. Eileen!
Then, Mommy and I went to Father Joe's last mass at St. Sebastian. Mommy said it was a very trying day for her and I don't know what she means by that :)- I thought I was so good!!
Sunday, we had the Ryans and Marchiones over for the Super Bowl. Giants won - yea!

Another week of swim lessons and this time Daddy took me b/c Mommy had to work. Then, Nin-nin came to watch me while Mommy and daddy went to a party! January was a pretty relaxing month for the Duffys and we like that!

Another morning of swim lessons- she's definitely a little fish! Big day for Caileigh! She went #2 on the potty for the first time, went to the bathroom at the store and slept without her binky! She gave all her binkys to babies that need them :) We'll see how long that works! We had to buy more underwear at the store b/c she has been doing all her business on the potty. Sometimes. And sometimes she just wets her pants!

I got to sleep over Grandma and Grandpa's house last night and today I am playing at their house. I saw Great Grandma too and we played Dora Candyland. Daddy ran out of gas twice in his car so I make sure he remembers to get gas now b/c I ask him everytime we get in the car - "you got gas Daddy?".

I started in my new room at school today - Toddler 2! We go bathroom on the potty (I do too!) and we eat breakfast in the cafeteria! Ms. Pat and Ms. Katie are my teachers.

The Fart Story...

On the way to Molly's house with Jack, Sydney and John, Caileigh asks - "you fart Sydney?" Sydney says "I didn't fart!" Caileigh asks -"you fart Jack?" Jack is asleep. Then John gets it... "you fart Daddy?". John, never one to admit it anyway says "no...did you fart Caileigh?" Caileigh says "I farted!"

Can't blame the girl for trying!

Today I started swim lessons! Mommy & me went to the Y and our teacher sang songs and I floated on my back! Daddy went to Ohio U for the day with Uncle Pat. Mommy and I went to the mall (I ate pizza!), fingerpainted and then went to Cheesecake Factory with Pap Pap, Grammy, Aunt Amanda, Aunt Ashley, Jason and Charlie (but he didn't eat - he had a basketball game!).

Happy New Year!! Mommy was certainly glad to shut the door on 2007 and we are all praying for a much healthier and happier 2008.

I've been busy since Christmas playing with my toys and on Sunday it was so nice we got to go outside and ride my new bike from Santa and my car from Grammy and Pap Pap! Mommy, Daddy and I play Candyland every night and even though I usually win, they get pretty excited to see who will finish second! And we have been playing toss across, lincoln logs, doing my puzzles and reading lots of books.

Oh and did I mention I've been wearing underwear?! OK I did miss making it to the bathroom the other day (because I was so excited to ride my bike!) but other than that I've been doing good. And I get an m&m when I go on the potty so I tell mommy I have to go even when I don't ;) I'm no dummy! But I think she is catching on pretty quick.

Over vacation we went to Big Joe's basketball games and went swimming at the Y. I'm like a fish and I float on my back ! I'm learning lots of new songs like "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Mary Janes" by Fergie - Mommy & I like to jam in the kitchen! Boy Mommy sure does sing loud!

Its Christmas! Merry Christmas Everyone ! What a fun day! We opened presents from Santa and then all my cousins and aunts and uncles came over for dinner! I played with Sydney and all the kids played with their Wii game. My aunts played cards and my uncles played pool. We had lots of fun but I was tired by the end of the day! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!

Its Christmas Eve! One more night until baby Jesue is born! Mommy went to visit Baby Stephen and Grandma and Grandpa Burke & I went over Aunt Kelly's to play with the kids for awhile. Then we went over Grandma's house and I wore my new dress and stockings!! I got lots of presents from Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma and Aunt Linda! Like a movie projector, a toss across, a tunnel, dolls and a dora outfit! After dinner we went to mass with Aunt Bridget and I kept singing and walking back to Aunt Bridget's row.

Finally (it was a long day!) we left cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer! I hope I've been a good girl!!

Tonight we had a party with Pap Pap, Grammy, Aunt Amanda, Aunt Ashley, Jason & Charlie! They brought all kinds of big boxes for me! I got a princess car, a teddy bear nursery, a work desk, a grille like daddy's, a medicine kit, books and a purse ! Wow, so many presents, I'm one lucky girl !!

Guess what? Daddy came home from work and there was a big pool table in the basement! Mommy said Santa dropped it off early for him! I got to spend the night at Pap Pap & Grammy's and played with Aunt Amanda and Aunt Ashley! We went to Damons for lunch and I ate lots of pickles!

What a busy week! I wasn't feeling good Monday so daddy stayed home with me Tuesday. Mommy's friends came over for a girls night dinner and Colin and Corinne came too so we played downstairs! Wednesday Santa Claus came again!! He was really loud saying "Ho Ho Ho" and he brought me a veggie tales tape and a book!

Today I got my haircut again and we're making Christmas cookies! And its snowing! Yay!

What a weekend! First we watched all kinds of shows on the drive to and from Michigan. We visited my Great Aunt Mary and Uncle Tom once we got there and then went to mommy's cousins in Ann Arbor for dinner. We got home really late and I got to sleep with Sydney!

Saturday we went to the mall and then over to Aunt Mary's again for a BIG party! Santa came but he was scary so I cried and cried. But he did give me a play pony so that was nice. The other Caileigh was there too and she sure is tall! We had fun playing with our toys together. I'm glad to be back home!

We're off to Michigan! Daddy, mommy, all my aunts (except Bridget) and cousins (except big Joe & Meghan) are headed to visit mommy's cousins and aunts/uncles! Once we get there we are going swimming at the pool!

I didn't feel so good last night so mommy stayed home with me. I took a long nap and woke up singing my ABCs! You know I can sing the whole song? It snowed all day long so after my nap we went outside while mommy shoveled snow, I made a snow angel. I also ate some snow and it tasted good! Mommy said it tastes like chocolate but daddy says it just tastes like water.

It sure is fun to get ready for Christmas! I'm learning a lot of new songs like "jingle bells", "frosty" and "let it snow". But my favorite song to sing is "Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Glory ("lorrie") to the Newborn King! That's what the angel on the top of my manger says. And I like "Hosanna", like we sing at church. Mommy sings it first b/c daddy says he doesn't have a good singing voice, then me, except I say "Psanna, Highest"!

I hope you all sing lots of songs this Christmas!

Today was daddy and Caileigh's day! We went to see "Go Diego Go" downtown and I got to meet Diego after the show! And I got a neat flashlight that lights up and spins around! I had so much fun with daddy!

This morning we went to Lake Forest to cut down our Christmas tree. We walked and walked and walked (ok I was carried) until we found the perfect tree. Then daddy muscles cut it down! The best part was the pretzels and hot dog at the tree farm. I like our tree !

Great News! Nin Nin's friend Ally that has been in the hospital since July got to go home today! She had a transplant in July and her mom, sister and dad have been living in Pittsburgh since then (they are from Philadelphia area) and Ally got to go to their home in Pittsburgh! Oh and mommy got daddy a special birthday dinner tonite - sushi! I wanted to try it and started crying and crying so I got a piece and shoved it in my mouth! It was hot! Mommy forgot to tell me it was spicy. But I think I might like sushi.

Happy Birthday Daddy! He's old but I won't tell you how old b/c its a secret! Mommy didn't have time to make a nice dinner so we just had cake. I like cake. You like cake?

Happy Thanksgiving! What a day! Its Grammy's birthday and mine & mommy's feast day (St. Cecelia). First we went to church and then to get a bagel at Bruegers. Then we came home and took a nap before going to Aunt MK's for dinner. I ate alot of spinach dip, turkey and potatoes. Then we came home and ate again with Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Aunt Linda and Uncle Stevie. And THEN, Sydney, Joey & Trinity came over and stayed all night. We didn't go to bed until 10:00 p.m.! Boy was I tired!

Happy Birthday Aunt Bridget! Mommy and daddy went out so I got to sleep over at Aunt Kelly's house with all my cousins. Nin Nin babysat everyone!

Big Day in our house! This morning before school I went to the bathroom all by myself on the potty! I think mommy was more excited than I was! YAY!!

Happy Birthday Pap Pap! Everyone came over for Pap Pap's birthday and to see the new house. Aunt Amanda, Aunt Ashley, Charlie, Jason and Grammy!

Moving Day! No more townhouse, hello big backyard! I love my new pink room and lots of rooms to run around in!
Thanks to all mommy and daddy's friends and family for helping us move (and rake the leaves)!

I didn't feel so hot today so mommy stayed home with me in the morning and then we went to her work for a little bit & I saw "nin nin" and Ms. Eileen and lots of mommy's co-workers. Then I spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house because tomorrow we move into a new house!

Mommy and daddy went to a special remembrance ceremony for Baby Stephen and all the little babies that died at Mercy Hospital - it was very sad but sweet.

Halloween was so much fun! We went to my Aunt Kelly and Uncle Joe's house and went trick or treating! Aunt Marykay dressed up like a scary witch but I wasn't scared! I liked walking to all the houses and asking for candy. Too bad my mom won't let me eat any!

We went to a Halloween parade in our new neighborhood and dressed up like Pooh! There was a big firetruck and a band and lots of kids. I had lots of fun especially after I got a cookie!

Today mommy and daddy bought a new house and we went over and ate pizza at my picnic table! There is no furniture so I get to run around every room!
