Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there & especially my wonderful mom whom I miss very much!
We had a great day starting with the Race for the Cure which has now become the walk around & get our nails done, faces painted, scarves, donuts, ice cream, ritas then do the 1 mile fun walk aka ride the carousel aka watch the magic show & then walk back to the car "for the cure". But no matter how early we have to drag our butts out of bed everyone still has a great time.
Eamon really enjoyed his first race - he was held by everyone & anyone especially his godfather Joe. He lights UP when he sees Uncle Joe and immediately dives for him. He really enjoyed his first donut and loved the cool headband!
Then back to our house for brunch with the sisters, Suzy Tom & Lizzy & Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma & Aunt Linda, Lynne, her mom Edna & niece Zoah. Too bad it rained but everyone still had fun & it didn't stop the kids from going outside.
Then some much needed naps for the Duffys (except me!) and then I was treated to a foot, leg, neck, hand & arm massage by "Aideen" & "Phoebe" my two wonderful masseuses (sp). And to top off the day I got my toes painted by the same girls! They did a wonderful job.
My sweet husband gave me a gorgeous canvas of the kids at Christmas for my office & Caileigh made a book, poem, MOM cutout & a pen holder for my desk. Keira was nice enough to give me a few of her toys & also a sweet poem! Couldn't ask for a better day (or a better family!). I'm so blessed to be a MOM!
