Tonight I got to dress ...

Tonight I got to dress up in a costume and ask for candy from all the neighbors! I dressed up as a spider and it was alot of fun. I wish it didn't rain and I would have stayed out longer and I wish my mom and dad would have let me eat some of that candy!

I have two front teeth! ...

I have two front teeth! And boy did they hurt coming in!! Finally they started to arrive bit by bit and now they are starting to show. My dad hopes I start to chew more now that they are here!!

And here's a funny story from daycare. My mom talked to Ms. Emily yesterday and she said I was doing great BUT, she picked me up and felt a lump under my arm! So she looked in my shirt and you'll never guess what I was hiding ... a GOLF Ball!! My dad gave me one that morning to hold and I was so sneaky, I hid it in my shirt without my mom knowing. Too bad I forgot it was there until Ms. Emily found it!! My mom said she has to "pat me down" before I leave the house now!!

Well today I had my ...

Well today I had my 1 year checkup and the dr said I am healthy! Of course, I haven't gained much weight lately and I had to be measured a few times to make sure I was still on the growth chart but since I am eating so well the dr isn't too concerned. For those keeping a record, I'm now a whopping 17 lb 4 oz and 26 3/4 inches!! Mommy says I'm easier to cuddle with and is happy that I still fit in the 9 month clothes b/c they are so cute!!

Today was my birthday party ...

Today was my birthday party at Aunt Bridget and Uncle Matt's house. All my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, godparents and friends came - whew there were alot of people!

We ate alot and watched a video my mom made of all pictures of my first year. Then - the best part- presents! I got all kinds of neat toys, books and clothes! But I liked the red tissue paper the best! Then we had cake but I didn't like that smash cake at all - I didn't even touch it! But my mom gave me some chocolate ice cream and it was yummy!

My mommy and daddy were so busy at the party that they only took 4 pictures! Boy was I tired when I got home, being 1 is hard work!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! I'm not sure what that means but everyone sure is making a fuss!

Mommy and daddy skipped work and we slept until 9:30! Then I went downstairs and there were yellow balloons all over. And I got an ELMO cart that I can push or ride. I started pushing it around the house right away! But I liked playing with the balloons better than anything!

Then, we went to a pumpkin patch and we saw a really big fat PIG!! And goats and sheep too. We met my friends Vivian and baby Jack and their moms too! Then we went shopping and to Monte Cellos for dinner so I could have my favorite food- PIZZA! Then at home I got to eat this yummy thing called a cupcake - I wasn't sure about it at first but then it was fun to eat! I can't wait until my party tomorrow!!

I went over my Aunt ...

I went over my Aunt Bridget's today and all my cousins were there because they were off school. I followed them all over the place and it was so much fun! But I was really tired when I got home! Then my grandma and grandpa brought me over a new pink coat with pants - I liked carrying them around the kitchen.

Today daddy, mommy and I ...

Today daddy, mommy and I went to this place called ToyRUs and boy was it fun. They picked out my birthday presents while I played with this really cool lawnmower. I pushed it all around the store but daddy wouldn't buy it because he said its too big for me! I had lots of fun pulling everything off the shelves and waving to all the nice people!

Today was mommy and daddy's third wedding anniversary! I made them a card at daycare with Ms. Emily's help. Then when I got home I walked all around the living room and kitchen! Walking sure is fun!!

We went to church this ...

We went to church this afternoon and boy did I have a good time waving to all the nice people. Then I started walking up and down the pews and found out that I could escape down the aisle if I walked fast! But daddy wouldn't let me go too far by myself. Oh well, maybe next week!
